From the moment I made my first project in the granny heart stitch, I knew this stitch would be perfect for a blanket. The stitch needed some tweaking to be able to use it in a blanket. Of course you can use the original granny heart stitch for a blanket, but I liked the hearts to be a bit further apart.
Toen ik het allereerste project met de granny heart steek maakte wist ik dat deze steek perfect zou zijn voor een baby deken. Het is was even puzzelen om hem voor een deken perfect te maken. Uiteraard kun je ook gewoon de originele granny hartjes steek gebruiken voor een deken, maar ik vond het wel leuk als de hartjes iets verder uit elkaar zouden zijn.
